Hey guys...Im in Montclair, NJ. I like doing installations myself and I recently installed rear bilstein sports...but, ran into problems trying to get the fronts on. Couldnt get the wheels off! Im used to seeing some rust b/w the wheels and the hubs..but this was ridiculous...these things arent budging! any ideas?

If anyone has some time and a spot to take care of the installation with me that would be great!

If your really having that hard a time getting wheels off...my suggestion would be to take a breaker bar, and than jump on it and I bet those lugs will come loose. :)

lead pipe, swing it across the tires. that'll shake her loose.

wait OP i think I have seen you. I drive a black e36 I gave some one in a red m3 with CSLs the thumbs up and they did too.

For the wheels your best bet is to see if a shop will (for cheap or free) impact wrench them off and then tighten them back with body weight till you get to your destination and take em off again, then do the install.

is there someone kind of hang ever in the passaic/essex/bergen county area? if not there SHOULD BE.

fairfield? nice..ya ill hit you up..its drivin me crazy! the bolts all come out but no amound of hitting was shaking it loose..my friend and i were going nuts on both fronts, and they werent budging for SHIT. I was thinking that they may need heat to loosen up the rust b/w the hub and the wheel...but if someone has a better option that doesnt require going to a shop thats what im lookin for.

i was working on the suspension in south jersey..but up at my apt in montclair i dont have a spot to work on the car..which is a drag...so if someone has a spot, ill bring the booze :D
