I had a previous thread about my mom's which was mine X5 whose engine light went off. We got it fixed, it needed a new gas cap. Now the lights is back on for the 4th time after the gas cap was replaced on the second time it was in the shop. This is getting rediculous on how the lights keep on coming on and leaving the shops slightly puzzled. Any ideas for you guys on what could be wrong, because having this light go off 4 times is not right

what kind of shop is this, a BMW dealer? if its an independent, i would go elsewere.

its a BMW dealership. I mean i have driven the X5 when the light was on for the 3rd time and it runs the same. I even hit the gas and reved the RPMs up high and the X5 still thru me back into the seat and hauled ass. this light is the weirdest thing

we cant help you unless you post some kind of diagnosis fault codes.

I think you should got it checked with some professionals at BMW dealer.
