Hi, i have a random misfire problem on my x5 4.4i 2005, it only has 42,000 miles on it.
the code i got was P0300.
could anyone please tell me what to look for, and what could be causing it since the misfire is on all of the cylinders.
Also, the light is on and if its moving at a higher rpm the car runs fine, the misfire only happens when the car is idle... thank you!

I had a similar problem and the engine would actually cut out. Restarted fine but got rough again at idle and then cut out. I found the MAF housing was loose allowing air into the intake (I'd had a smog test and I guess they missed a bolt when reassembling) . Tightened it up and problem was solved.
