Anyone know of a good shop near Manhasset? I stayed overnight at my friend's house there (I live on Staten Island) and my car would not start this morning. I think I need a new alternator.

try m-spec. they are in queens, not too far away. they have a very good rep on here.

Ended up having it towed to GTS Motors in Bellerose. They did a great job. Turned out my fuel pump was dead and had it replaced in two hours.

None better than GTS and Serg, as good; but, not better! :)
