Stowe Autocross... we should all go to that... I think i'm going to enter my M3, but i'm hesitant because I want my suspension mounts reinforced first.

Lol I acutally put that camera to the test one time. I was delivering a customer car at night in the woods of NH. There was a deer in the road around a blind corner and the car started beeping to warn me about it. It's an expensive option, but you see it on a lot of high end 5's and 7's.

jay wanted to let you know, i found the e30 for me. i'm flying down to long island tomorrow morning at 7am to get it. it's got 90k on the odometer with a bunch of goodies. can't wait to show you guys

Sorry to have to bust in here, but I'm in need of some help. I live in NJ, but also spend a lot of time in Clarendon Springs (near Rutland).

On Friday the coolant expansion tank on my '02 540 split open. It was too late to find out if anyone had the part and the BMW parts dept. at the dealers in Shelburne and in the Albany area are closed on Saturday.

An attempted repair with JB Weld looked good, but failed after a short test drive. So now I'm back to getting a replacement part.

Is Shelburne the only dealer in VT? If they have the part, I'll probably have to rent a car to get up there to pick it up - but that's the next problem to solve.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Well, I've already been up here for a week and was supposed to be back at work on Monday so I can't really wait a couple of days.

I gave Automaster in Shelburne a call and they had 3 in stock. I rented a car from Enterprise for $50, drove up to Shelburne and picked one up for $80, drove back, put it on, added coolant and left for NJ around 5PM.

No problems, except I need to bleed some more air from the system.

no worries broski!! I went back there yesterday hoping to find m50 parts after you said there were mad bimmers in the back corner.... ya dissapointment!! haha.. we going back today? i think i might want to snag the battery cable from one of those e30s to relocate my battery in my gti!

Ya the yard is called Rathes Salvage. Its off exit 16 on 89. They have a lot of old e30s and what not. No newer stuff...

My buddy got up here yesterday with his 06 turbo gti... Its APR tuned... Stage 2/3... Its running 270 hp currently because his ecu got reflashed by the dealer... It should be pushing 320hp... He let me drive it yesterday, and its fuckin fast... We should prob all take it for a spin before he leaves...
