Is there anybody here heading to Lime Rock for the SCCA Grand Am races on Memorial Day Monday? I'm planning on going up Monday morning from Southeast CT.

Let me know if anybody is going and wants to hook up for the drive or at the track.

I most likely going. Monday morning. I drive up rt9 to interstate 91

Not sure but trying to go Monday AM. For me it's a straight shot out Rt 44.

At this point I'm planning to go, I like to go early, sometimes you can get in on a parade lap that way. I'll be going up Rt 8 to 236 to 63 (I think). Sorry I missed you at F 40 if you went, I couldn't make it at the last minute....If I don't hook up with you beforehand, I'll see you there

It was a great day, the historic F1 cars were amazing. We got to talk to some of the folks who built, drove and maintain these cars as well as see them in action (including one very expensive looking shunt). A perfect day all around

I was a little disappointed to find out the Daytona prototypes weren't included in this series and there were only 3 different cars (M3, Porsche 997 & Mustang) in the Grand Sport class. But the outcome was cool with Turner BMW's in 1st and 3rd.

And as previously mentioned, the vintage F1 Class was amazing!!!!!!

I was lucky enough to have attended the 1979 USGP at Watkins Glen when I was 17. I snapped this picture there.

It was wicked cool to see these same era cars back on (a familiar) track today.
