What'll really make you guys sick is that there weren't too many ///M or Z3 coupes and roadsters! Lots of classic Coupes, and '02s.

Here's my brother's car. We were on our way when a stainless brake line blew and the fluid ingnited from the heat from the rotors and the headers. No real damage, but the car was sidelined for the weekend. Owen must have passed us in the Shelby GT350H as he knew what color the car was when I spoke to him in the afternoon!

Holy crap! Now thats what I call "toys"!!

That must be just about every delivered Vector W8 parked right there! Love the Buggatti EB110 Cyan too. Was that GT40 in the second picture real? Nice either way.:love1

Sorry to hear your brother's Pantera left you stranded. I'm glad the fire didn't turn "serious". Looks like you had a great time though. I am going to be in the Bay area in mid Sept., I am going to have to schedule these trips a little better in the future so I can go to these events too!

bit of trivia: The Ferrari Enzo's ceramic brake rotors cost $24,000.00 to replace, pads alone are an additional $6000.00. So even if you hit the lottery and can find a used one to buy, a brake job will cost in excess of $30K in parts only. Factory required oil changes are only $750.

In that Cobra pic if you look in background you can see the new 350Z vert in what looks like a Z car paddock!

It's held the 3rd weekend in August.

You're very observant as I thought nothing about the 350Z 'vert. There was also a Saleen S7 there, but i didn't get a pic of it.
The GT40 was actually a Cav GT. However, there were 8 real GT40s at the Historics in the paddock.

I am now barfing!

3rd weekend of August huh?

We should all plan a trip to one of these events or to a driving school like Skippy's or Derek Daly, Russell's etc.
May be like after taxes, not sure why, because I'm not getting anything back, but some of you might.

Thoughts??
