hey are you talking about the marin concours? my timing has sucked too! my office is right over there and i know there was also a cruise starting in front of poggio which is a place i frequent. problem was, my wife and i just had out first baby less than 2 weeks ago and we live in the city so the logistics of going, not to mention entering, were just too complicated. it sucks. there's also a small car show in sausalito every year that we go to. we should try to coordinate some presence at these things from now on..... did you enter your 8?

No i went with the fam. It was my first time at something like this, it was hot ass the doorway to hell some people were passing out.
I dont think anyone expected the heat i know i didnt we had our 6 month old girl with us, next time im bringing gatorade.90+

that's right... we were in the city and it was hot even there. i havd my 2 week old and we were really worried about the heat since there's no freakin a/c anywhere. well, next year hopefully there won't be a heat wave and maybe afew of us 8ers can hook up. but i must admit, i might take my stingray and not the 850. only because it's in way better shape... :buttrock

i'm with you, but the '71 stingray IS DONE! paint so perfect your wife could coiff her hair in it. and an interior and engine bay that have been completely redone, it's a real trip. so when i go to a meet or show that's not neccessarily euro specific, i bring the vette. for those other shows, i bring the 8. variety is the spice of life.
