A month back I had start issues after replacing both CPS's and it turns out I had reversed the CPS and #12 plug wire sensor plugs. Between swapping those and reseating connections (with the help of Mark in SBA), I got all 12 back. Incidentally, the batteries held their charge after sitting fully connected for 1+ month.

When replacing the CPS's I disconnected the expansion tank and propped it up at some point. Overnight the tank tipped and spilled out. So right now I am in the process of bleeding the system. (I replaced the water pump, t-stat, radiator, and hoses all within the last 2 years). Both the upper and lower hoses are hot and under pressure, but I can't get any heat. The expansion tank when cold reads full, so I have enough coolant in there. What would explain the fact that the heater core isn't getting any flow? Temp wheels are fully turned to red and the fan is on high.

Any suggestions? I have the front end of my car 2 feet higher than the rest of the car.

Traped air is my guess theres a procedure to bleed the system i think.

Park the car on a incline with the front up the highest, Engine running up to operating temperature and Bleed and bleed and check the fluid level and blEEd and bLeEd, When all the air seems out, Take if for a spin and then check it again for air bubbles and fluid level, Should be good to go. If not! BlEeD some more to get rid of all air, You need to eliminate the air from interrupting the water flow.
**Peek at the temperature between bleeds to be safe**

Update is good. I got the last of the air out of the system and the temp guage isn't getting past the 1/2 mark. My 8 is running fine again, not even a single check engine light during the drive! I took it for a highway run and during and when I had an open 1/2 mile of highway in front of me I goosed the 12 up to just north of 120 mph. It felt good.

Now I just need to find a deal on some new tires, and maybe some rims.
