I have a few pics - they arn't pretty - but the new (used) engine is in and so is the transmission.

Getting the old one out was pure hell - but it's in now and looking good (although very dirty) - I plan on getting it running over the next few days - been a busy week.

I am finishing up some work on my kitchen, I have to go fight a traffic ticket tomorrow, and today was spent doing odds and ends as well as change the oil on my Ml320 and E36 M3.

I will only be able to fire up the Lotus for a few seconds as there is no coolant in it yet - that is next week/months project.

Lotus- did you read my post about checking the oil pump before you start that new motor?

I had an Oil pump failure from an engine that sat for 2 years. Started it up and within a blink of an eye, the driver side head was ruined. Camshaft ate itself into the bearing blocks (happens when hardened steel rotates in non-lubricated aluminum....)
