wokke 05-13-2009, 08:31 AM Thx mate. Didnt know about his page.

226 SPORTS SUSPENSION SETTINGS sounds like M-suspension to me. They only offer standard and sport AFAIK.
BTW, are you sure you have a sway bar also on the rear axle? I picked a July 1991 850 when checking on that page because you didn't supply a VIN.
Go to that page and fill in the last 7 digits of your VIN and it'll pick YOUR car for the spare part listing.
And make sure to add this page to your favorites. IMO it is mandatory for any BMW enthusiast to know this page because it is extremely helpfull with all thge drawings. By clicking ion the part number it also lists all other BMW models using that part. Can be very convenient especially when searching for used parts in the bay.
Cheers

wokke 05-13-2009, 08:54 AM No idea if there is a difference between Sport suspension settings and M Sport Suspension. Or did they just change the terminology? With both VIN numbers the catalog only offers standard or M suspension.
Can't you just measure it on your car?
Fatandre 05-13-2009, 08:58 AM The car is 4000 km away from me and I dont have that long ruler:D

I could call my stealer and ask him about the difference between Sport suspension settings and M Sport Suspension. Not sure though if he knows it.
