I’m leaking power steering fluid and my turns are starting to get a little loud. I’ll make an appointment tomorrow, but I won’t be able to bring her in until next week. I'm going to fill her up so I can drive it until I can get her in. Only problem is... I don't really know where the fluid goes. I think it's the black cylinder left and slightly in front of the right shock tower, but I'm not sure. Can someone tell me if I'm right, this is on an E38. Thanks.

actually, its not really leaking fluid. The pump if faulty, perhaps it was damaged when I had the really bad psf leak a few months back. But the pump isn’t doing what it’s supposed to do and sometimes when I crank the wheel hard I hear that all to familiar moan. Thanks for the pointers but I don’t think I’ll be needed them.
