Does anyone know if a Sunroof from another model can fit the E31.

I was driving my E38 yesterday and I really like the glass Sunroof, with the manual cover you can slide forward yourself.

Is this a possible thing?

Nope - no other sunroofs made will fit our cars.
(except of course my cf one...)

Well it is possible...,just expect large fabrication bill.

LOL.... my sunroof has a loos part that slides around. Its very appealing.....I'd hate to lose that for a moonroof.

The glass sunroof would look nice on this car, but I don't know of any that are compatible with the E31. I thought one off of the E38 would be an ok fit with fabrication, but I couldn't go through with cutting the car up.

I wish my 8 had T-tops instead of a sunroof!
Or a Targa Top/Baur style removeable top..

A webasto sunroof is always an option, we used to do those all the time for people who wanted a glass moonroof vs metal sunroof.
