I am thinking of buying an x5 in the next few months. I am hesitant because of the iDrive. I understand it is being upgraded in the 2010 models. I saw them both and am wondering if the new one is truly that much more funtional. Any actual experiences would be appreciated. I won't use way points or funky features on Nav, just points of interest including diesel fuel finder, and addresses. I do like to flip through SAT stations, move the fader back and forth (so the kids don't listen to Howard Stern), etc.

The new one with the multiple buttons seems way easier to use.

As for the diesel, any problem in 09 that will likely be fixed in the 2010? Or upgrades expected?
