i need help removing the small slash cut gear on the ond of the E cam ( intake ) out of a 93 325. it is the one with the 10mm allen in the end of it. please help me out my car is sitting in peices as we speak.

i did this on my m3. it is a bitch. you need to clamp down the triangle end of the cam into a vice. so that only that little sprocket sticks off the top. then once it is held down tight you can then use a breaker bar with the proper bit and take it off. make sure to have a second person hold the cam while in the vice so it doesn't accidently fall. and that's all....
