I researched new shocks and struts on my '93 e36. I read that the tokico's do not work very well on BMW's...good on Japanise imports though....I went with boge oem and I am satisfied.....go with the bilsteins
I'm not sure I'd go w/ Tokico's either. I'm on Koni SA on my 98 M3 w/ H&R OE Sports. Bilsteins are recommended by many BMWCCA folks as well. For a matched kit, I'd be inclined to go w/ Boge/Sachs or Eibach Pro-Kit to be safe.
You might want to check TC Kline or Turner Motorsports for general advice on this topic.
