Hi. My 2005 X3 3.0 has the CEL on but it runs fine... i'm pretty sure it has to do with emissions like o2 sensor or something. I have an e34 as well and i know with my e34 we can do a "stomp test" which then the CEL blinks and tells us a code by flashing. I was wondering if these new day bimmers or my car can do the same thing or does it need to be scanned?
