Hi,

I am planning to buy a new BMW 325i. I am out of school now and want to drive BMW, so I am not that particular about interior comforts. Though, I still want Power seats and moonroof. I figured out by shelling out extra bucks, I can get a lot more features in Premium Pakcage, including abovementioned two features. The problem is that sucjh cars usualyy come with Leather seats. I do not want to spend extra bucks on Leather seats.

I can very well go along with Leathrette but I was told that BMW with leathrette & Premium Package would have a low resale value as compared to one equipped with Prem Pkg and Leather.

Please let me know you comments.

Thanks
Steve

Most people that would like the Premium Package generally would like a leather interior, so they probably wouldn't buy a car with leathrette. But then the people who don't care about the Premium Package and leather interior, generally don't care about having the powerseats and moonroof, so it might make the car harder to sell or force the resale value down to what it would be if there was no premium package. (Sorry if I sound confusing.) Fortunately, the Premium Package actually does not include leather so you can opt to do that. My $0.02 is to get the Sport Package because it has a better suspension (you get the sport seats as well as other goodies) and the moonroof as an extra option. You come out saving $250. Hope this helps!
