anyone going to the concorso?

someone has to be going! its the biggest car show of the year!!!

I'll be there. I'm going down in my friend's crummy old car that he'll have on display. :winknudge

Obviously I'll be taking in the sights and snapping a lot of pictures, but otherwise I expect we'll be hangin' in the Lambo section with his car. If you see a guy wearing an M3 or WRC hat and loitering near this car, it's probably me...

I had a great time at the show Friday. The weather was absolutely perfect and the show was huge. I took a ton of digital pictures and put two dozen (resized) images up on the web to try to give a feel for the Concorso: http://broadsword.com/concorso/

It's strange to be completely surrounded by like 700 great cars and then once you leave you're back to being surrounded by Hondas and minivans...

I didn't see any celebs, but then again I wasn't looking for any. I did see the Enzo, there's one pic of it on that page I put up (bottom row as I recall, in the pic with an F50.) Here's an artsy shot I took of the Enzo on the move:

Hahaha! Starting to sound like the OT section in here... I didn't see that much in the way of artificial inflation but there were a few. Not great picture material though because the obvious ones looked really fake and the women weren't good looking either, IMO.

There were some nice looking gals there, but much fewer than I had imagined though, and nowhere near as many as the ones that *thought* they were hot.
