I have had a couple vechicles do that in the past on those it was the thin sheet metal in the steering wheel it was bent inward and once you pushed on it ur screwed had to pull steering wheel apart and bend sheet metal away from contacts.

Just replace them with this setup.

If its sticking, probably the horn switch. Many 8's suffer from damaged horns due to their very low front location. Some have relocated the horns in front of the radiator to prevent future damage.

Look under the nose... One of mine got scraped off by a valet who OBVIOUSLY took my car for a joyride.

I use air horns, Sounds similar to porche horns, There mounted in the center Kidney Grills, Got the idea from Wuffer, They get people out of your way!!!

I've thought about air horns. For now I installed euro-style PIAA horns. They sound great and appear to be louder than stock... But a little louder would be excellent. I might try some air horns sooner than later.

What's funny was that I left the restaurant and immediately hopped onto the fwy... There was a dragging sound, I though there was something stuck on the CSi valence. I got off the fwy 10 miles or so later and noticed that it was one of the horns that was dragging on the asphalt :rolleyes I disconnected it and was surprised to see that the horn was not really damaged too badly (still intact but the bracket was busted). There is a reason why people relocate the horns, they're placed in a bad spot. I should've done it when I had the whole front end off a while back.

yeah, definitely.I think it's funny how of all the things that could have happened that's the best of the worst.

Where do you have the air tank and compressor installed, or is it compressor driven only?

Its electric with a little compressor/motor installed by the right horn. Easy install...

Dont remember but Fiamm is probably correct. Bought the kit at NAPA for around $60 iirc - mainly cause it was the right colour!

Did you go for the euro hi-tone or the low-tone? I've got a hi-tone but I'm not sure I'm diggin' it.

Years ago they came in blue. Harbor Freight has an imitation for like $20 or $30.
