Evan e21 08-09-2003, 08:09 PM Why would we ever insult you:rolleyes: I'm JK good luck man:wave: E30 Stu 08-09-2003, 08:23 PM Originally posted by audiophile just curious, but why add 18" wheels and tweak the suspension of an Intrepid? Maybe to improve the looks of the vehicle. Maybe because the seller likes to modify cars because it gives he or she a good hobby. Maybe because it improves and extends the vehicles limits of traction and adhesion---making 10/10ths much further down the spectrum. Why put 17" Konig's on a 3100 pound M42 car? I'd put down $50 that says his Intrepid will roast you in a straight line pull. Let the man sell his car. ibizam3 08-09-2003, 08:25 PM I know, I know but ok here it goes... Came for college to upstate NY from NYC. I was 18, needed a car, so first day of college I hit a local dealership in upstate NY. Now, anyone that's had to come to this place knows that it doesn't exactly brim with German-engineered vehicles. So, I test drove it, it floored quite well, so I bought it... and time over time, I kept adding stuff to it... and rims, suspension, etc etc all made it onto the list... So then I fell in love with the M3, and while shopping around for one, I fell in love with the Z4. Never planned on selling my car, but now I have to as purchasing a 3.0 Z4 is gonna cost me about $10,000 for the downpayment, luxury tax, and all that scheisse.... So that's the story. iwannadinanm3 08-09-2003, 08:27 PM hey ibiza, check ur pm's when u get a chance ibizam3 08-09-2003, 08:28 PM Thanks E30 Stu. You're a good man. :-D Evan e21 08-09-2003, 08:29 PM Make sure to post pics when you get that Z4, i love those things. ibizam3 08-09-2003, 08:42 PM Here's the one I test drove: http://members.roadfly.org/riker/thecar.jpg Evan e21 08-09-2003, 08:53 PM sweeet. ibizam3 08-09-2003, 09:08 PM Yeah, I fell in love .... ibizam3 08-09-2003, 09:31 PM Originally posted by GreekM3 damn :( awesome price if I could afford that I would be ALL over that! Those rims are bling blingin!!! Too bad boss :( .... but are you serious about your sig? audiophile 08-09-2003, 11:25 PM in my own defense, i'd just like to clarify that was a simple, non-confrontational question, and i don't think i deserved the answer given to me by a few people. i simply wondered if you liked the looks of the mods or if it gave any noticable improvement in performance. that is all. now get off my back. good luck with selling your car; for what it's worth, i think it looks a LOT better than a stock one. Evan e21 08-09-2003, 11:32 PM People just need to stop intruding on others FOR SALE ads, then we would not have arguments like this. Audiophile.....you had no right to ask a reason that he justfies spending money on his car. why he did this...it's his car and he can do whatever he wants. If you ever sell your car do you want people coming on and posting....Ahh that slow peace of shit.....those rims are ugly....what a waste of money to put into a slow peace of shit. I think we both no the answer Now...lets let the man sell his car:wave: |
