WOW:eek::eek::eek:

That looks very nice. Definately the biggest on the 8 I'd go, 18's:D Your friend has very good taste. How is the ride quality on the car? I can't really tell, but are the rears a little stretched?

They are strethed and they dont rub. The quality is ruff and hard. I dont think you will go lower on springs than that

Nice Polish 8! Wouldn't stand a chance on these f*cked up L.A. streets unless it's got hydraulics--it's pothole/speedbump hell out here in the Wild West.

From my driving, The potholes seem to be where the action is only, Downtown and Hollywood area for example, Out in the Desert, The roads are smooth and like new, No patches either! I guess there to much money to loose when shutting down the streets to repair in those area's, I don't understand why it's not done at night to avoid the heavy traffic, It only takes a good week to grind and repathe, Seem to be a bit healthier when the economy was better. imo

Yes, the roads are terrible in the middle of the city. I think that the L.A. roads aren't fixed due to 2 reasons:

- Municipal Local Gov't corruption (Villaraigosa...)
- Squandering of tax payers $ to award outlandish contracts to old friends (LAUSD, e.g;, Belmont Learning Center etc...)

It never ceases to amaze me how wholly corrupt the city of Los Angeles is politically.

Anyhow, You're right 8eights, they really need to fix the damn streets around here.

PS. Slightly off-topic, so excuse me...

wonder what the spring rates are and how much damage the springs will do to the suspension and strut and shock mounts.....big risk

I might just keep the ride height of the car the way it is. I think it might already be lowered, and I don't feel like loosing more lips to the terrible roads here in Alberta.

they are horrendous in Alberta. i didn't realize how good i had it in Vancouver until i moved to Edmonton. i think some of the potholes here have swallowed up cars whole..
