Hope all goes well with your son's operation. For members that cannot attend (me since I'm in GA), how can we contribute?

Hope all goes well with your son's operation. For members that cannot attend (me since I'm in GA), how can we contribute?This may be long so grab a coffee or a beer.. Marco's been sick since birth.. My friend who puts this together 3 to 4X a year wanted to do a special run for my son..Don't worry about making a contribution , but it's nice to know there's people(like yourself) who I don't even know willing to donate.. My son had his first operation when he was 2 months old and when it was over the Surgeon came out and told my wife and I Marco wouldn't make the night.. I lost my mind , literally!! But day by day he grew stronger..After watching him lay there for 6 weeks in a coma with his little chest open , he woke up.. He's my $1,000,000 kid , if not more..He was diagnosed with Tetroligy of Fello , Pulmonary Atriesia , M.A.S.C.A.P. , and a very large VSD that couldn't be closed at the time of his first operation( it wouldn't hold the pressure and leaked ).. So his 2nd OH was to close the hole.. It took his surgeon 12 minutes to do it..His surgeons name is Thomas Spray and they say he's one of the best in the world if not the best..( google it ) I've seen quite a few families lose their child and I'm not ready for that , but who is?? I'm Scared , VERY... My Health Ins. blows out the ass.. I just got a letter of pre approval for a 4 day hospital stay for my son , any longer will have to be re-evaluated ( watch the movie Sicko ) My wifes work had a Benefit for Marco not to long ago and raised over $25k in 4hrs.( Randy was there ) So many people came out that night I couldn't believe it.. So on the 29th of this month ,or should I say the night of the 28th , everyone say a prayer for my son as he'll need them..Sorry for the long read , but that's what I'm up against right now.. But that's life , right??

WOW:eek::eek:

Man, that is a very hard thing to hear when your newborns doctors tell you theres nothing that can be done, that your child won't be seeing another tomorrow. But as always, God steps in the way because he is the one who decides the true outcome. I just looked up Thomas Spray and dang, pretty extensive history in the medical field. Expensive work, yes. Is it worth your son's life, DEFINATELY! Once again, good luck to him for the operation and the other members here and I will definately pray for him. Also, good luck to you and your wife, as well as the family, because most likely, as you showed in your brief description, its more stressful than we can see not coming from your standpoint in the situation.

Maybe next year I can join the event:)

I hope for the best for your son. Could you post an address that a contribution can be sent to?

My prayers go with you and wish I could be up there to take the ride. I wish the best for your son as well and you and your wife. Losing a child is no joke - been there done that - sucks. So I'm down here hoping for the best.

Peace,
R
