Hey im looking for all you local guys in Fairfield who are mechanically incline. I decided to keep my car for good but the auto transmission has to go. I want to swap in a 5 or maybe, but i really doubt it, a 6spd. I try to do as much as i can but my experiance isn't developed yet so i need some help.

So if you know how and would like to help with the swap, i can pay you with a sandwich and some ice cold beer if you like.

Oh and the swap isn't coming anytime relatively soon. But i wanna make sure its doable before i start buying parts and get myself in to deep.

Well I have no idea how to do it, nor do I have much mechanical experience, but I am right in town. Let me know when you end up doing this and if you get some one (or a few ppl) who know what theyre doing. Im right in town so I can be an extra set of hands, but unfortunately cant guarantee much more.

i'd help you out, just buy a 24 or something and we'll work all day haha, i've removed and reinstalled my manual tranny plenty of times so i atleast have an idea of where to start, especially if its an e36.
