I would appreciate it if someone could help me with a steering wheel issue I am experiencing.
The wheel does not adjust when I turn the car on, nor does it adjust manually. I fear that either the fuse is bad, or the mechanism is malfunctioning.
I opened the fuse box under the hood, however, I cannot find the fuse for the steering wheel.
Has anyone experienced this before? What was the issue, if you have? Also, where can I find the fuse for the steering wheel?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide me.

I didn't fix this directly, but I had the same problem and took it to my local shop after checking fuses and not finding an issue. The technician that fixed it said control unit for this sits in the center console somewhere behind the radio. Apparently a connector had come loose there. I didn't ask at the time how it occurred, but it's been working fine since. The previous owner had installed an aftermarket radio, so maybe whoever put that in did something to help loosen it.

Its not likely the fuses but more likely the steering wheel controller located behind the OBC. Common failure point. I have a few available if you determine that is the problem.

I had a similar problem that existed when I purchased my 840. The auto position mode wouldn't work but I could still position the steering wheel with the stalk lever proving that it wasn't a rear compartment fuse problem. Finally spent the big bucks to purchase and install a new control module to return the systems normal operation. Point of interest: Once you find a tool to remove the radio you'll discover that it takes tiny hands to remove and install the module behind the OBC.

I had a similar problem, removed the fuse for an hour, re installed and the system "rebooted"

Hope this helps.

or you can pull the center A/C vent and reach the module quite easily

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I actualy found the fuse in the trunk, next to the battery. Changed the fuse, and now it works.
Thanks again.
