Steve goes way out of his way to set up meets, and runs for the bimmer community which is far more than most of the members around here do.

Tanaca's done a hell of a lot to help steve out so he's just trying to help out Tanaca while also helping out anyone looking for an inexpensive mechanic.
Bottom line is that if members like Ohnoes are still here, than it's screwed up that the OP gets banned because someone in the regional forums thinks he's a little irritating.

yeah it's one thing to spam for a shop you like. He might over do it a little IMO.

...but it's not like the black forest runs are reposts. They are large, well organized and executed events, that he is responsible for. To call him annoying, for orchestrating the black forest runs, is a bit much.

$ 550.00 is not a great price for a brake/rotor job --- that job usually runs

$300.00 parts and $150.00 labor

$ 200.000 for front and rear rotors set (At Bavarian Autosport) or you can even find cheaper OEM's out there

$ 80.00-100.00 for front and rear pads sets

Paint caliper, whoa those are special skills...you paid for that...

Your opinion isn't well thought out based on that screen shot. Each one of those is either in a different subforum, or alerting of a major change. It may feel like you see a lot of Black forest run threads, but that's likely because he organizes a few of them a year.
