Hello everyone. I seem to have a little problem with my climate control panel. Its gone black, no power whatsoever. I recently took my 840 out of winter storage and after some recharging of the batteries i finally got it going again. But... As I stated above i cant use my fan and its getting hotter day by day. I have checked all the 3 fuses and still no cigarr. Anyone have any idea what my next cause of action should be?

If only the fan is not working, and you have checked the fuses (1, 19, & 21) then most likely the "sword" is the culprit

Its not only the fan. Turning the dials or pressing the buttons for heating/Ac dont lit up. My current quess is that the controller is shot. But im not looking forward to break open the panel to find out. I have looked at the repair handbook http://www.bmwtechinfo.com/repair/main/721en/htm/926.htm
But it refers to a section which doesnt exist 64 10 010. I quess this section is how to check the functionality of the controller. But then again i might be wrong. Happy Easter everyone.
