Good tint removal shops in the 818/626? I don't know if I will damage anything doing it myself, might as well pay a pro. How much does it usually cost to take off front two windows? 40 50 bucks?

its very easy to diy. take a razor and get a corner of the tint started, then the tint just peels off. take care of the tint residue with fantastic.

Agreed with above. Once you have one corner up, just peel back slowly. The residue can be removed with your favorite residue remover... I used goof off and it worked fine.

Spray ammonia on the tint, use it to adhere a black garbage bag, and park it in the sun for a few hours. Should work.

Tint removal....
needed... 1 razor box knife...like..2 bucks, 3 black trash bags box is like..4 bucks, windex blue like..3-4 bucks, 1 old credit card...NC.
Push a edge of trash bag into the bottom of the window channel with old credit card...(catches the mess.)spray window tint with windex let stand for like five minutes, start at a upper corner and peel with razor knife in a downward diagnal fashion.after all film is pulled, mist again with windex wait agian five minutes, use razor knife again to peel the adhesive off glass..Should come off real easy with the windex blue. after all tint and sticky crap is off you should but dont have to wash the glass with joy dish soap.(no oils in JOY Dish soap).Should be clean and clear...and ready for re-tint if you do so......
Hope this helps....

Thanks for the input everyone, yea I think i'll go ahead and do it myself.

The real question is, should I re-tint hmmm.....satin black wheels and black grilles going on next week so I think I might have to to prevent the fish bowl look.
