View Full Version : Rieger GP
Did any of you participated in Rieger GP about a month ago through bmw332is?
It has been a month and I haven't seen the product nor the invoice/tracking info.
I've been sending him emails but only received 1 response saying his computer was down so he wasn't able to reply and he was going to find out from Rieger about our items the following business day. As of today, I haven't heard back from him and I've been sending him emails.
The least he could do is to keep us inform about the order.
Tom, I hope you're reading this. Please provide us with the invoice number and the contact rep. for Rieger, I'll do the leg work myself.
Ron :(
232is PoWeR 08-27-2001, 01:17 AM did yo ucall him?!?!?!?!?
I thought I have his number but I don't. I do have his address.
I've send him emails but never get any reply. He used to be very quick in responding to emails.
It's beginning to sound like a scam.

Khoalty 08-27-2001, 03:25 PM Hey bro,
If you used a credit card, call them up and tell them you didn't get jack and they will reverse the process for ya.

Jimmy325 09-05-2001, 10:08 PM I have actually sent him emails asking about that GP. It sorta sounded like a scam, so I didn't join the GP. I hope you will get your parts man, may the force be with you.
He wasn't really professional about things... did you ask him where he was located and where the parts were coming from? As in who was the vendor?
Jimmy
His name is Tam Bui (Tom), apparently, he's involved with ABP Tuning in El Paso, TX. Initially, he was pretty good with emails but after I paid him I didn't hear from him again.
It sounded like a legit GP, I've gone through many GP and never had any problem but I won't do any GP again, I rather pay an extra $15-$25 to get the products than going through the hassle including filing a complaint with BBB.
Ron
Stockman 09-10-2001, 02:39 AM take a trip to el paso.. find him... pay a towtruck driver to tow off his car... strip it down... sell the parts to recoop the damage
or just hop out of the car with like 3 big guys.. shotguns in hand... demand immediate payment...

don't say that.. GBuy is good.. ... but just have to make sure you are paying to the dealersip .. not to the individual ...
:-)

Stylin 09-10-2001, 06:37 PM Damn Im glad I didnt get in that group buy.. i was going to buy the Reiger splitter instead of the Hamann one. Talked to him for a long time about it too. What a SCAM..!! He made out HUGE! It did sound a little fishy to me also.
But I hope its just taking long to get the parts for u guys...
DeezBMW 09-10-2001, 06:55 PM If you need his phone number, I have a way of finding these things out. PM me his address and I will get you his number. Is it his home address, or work?
I've PM you his address and email.
I'm about to call my lawyer too, it's not just about the money, it's more of principal.
Thanks Deez!
Ron
DeezBMW 09-11-2001, 04:11 AM Unfortunately Lawyers can't help ya here. I went throught this whole thing already. Matter of fact I still don't have mine solved, and its been since July 5th! :( I will get you his number though and get back to you. Good Luck!!
Thanks Deez! If lawyers can't help, would a couple of 400 lbs Samoan's can help shake out this punk?

Dakar95M3 09-25-2001, 11:02 AM I remember a while ago he came to Houston and joined one of out weekend meets. He had a red M3 with 19's. The point is, the same people he bought it from are selling it again(maybe reposessed) As far as I know, he is not in Elpaso, but in Austin. He seemed Legit when I met him, but looks can be decieving.
Man, I hope you get you'r money back....
Later

It's a miracle, the Rieger kit arrived today from Tom Bui. I have not had a chance to inspect the product yet but just want to let everyone knows that my order came in.
For those of you who joined the GP, go outside and check your front door. :)
Peace!
Ron
