the engine gets hot, the cockpit gets hot, EVERYTHING gets hot...

so two questions.

1) cooling down the engine, I've done the new fan-clutch, the radiator is recent, and its not low on coolant, and seems to be burped... what next, is there a bad-assed aftermarket radiator out there, what about using the AC condenser(?) space to fit something bigger???

2) heat in the cabin: my feet are getting TORCHED! any ideas would help... any point to "heat wrapping" the exhaust under the floor-boards... ANY suggestions welcome on this one.

PS, anyone got a line on a good M30B32 or M30B35??? it doesn't have to be pretty, just solid and smooth... and preferably cheap.

Are you sure that the footwell heat is the exhaust? (since the exhaust is on the other side) You should borrow my infrared thermometer and see if you can tell where the heat is coming from.

Plus, haven't there been some issues with the heater valve? Any possibility this is contributing to the cabin heat?

dude... 1 of 2 things:

help me find willing victims... er, I mean clients... or stop steering me toward divorce! :D:D:D:D:D

I am going to just replace the engine. I see no reason to attempt to fix one that has had the living crap beat out of it like mine... and re: LSD...... DUH!

we need to get in there are look at the heater valve... I just don't know where it is...

If it is like my car (and I think it is), the heater valve is on the firewall inside the brake master cylinder. Repair kits are cheap.

Dude, you gotta remember not to tell me that you're thinking of shopping for stuff... I WILL find it! :D

Hit me up this weekend if you want to take a look at your heater...

Any thoughts on the engine heat? My 540 engine bay gets so hot that it radiates into the car when the windows are down and I'm sitting at a stop light. Temp. gauge is fine though.

I seriously can't work on my car if I've driven it that day, it's THAT hot.
