I just picked up a 2001 M coupe after months of searching. I need to find a good dealer to do my service on the coupe. I want the dealer go over the car w/ a fine tooth comb to see if anything needs to be serviced or repaired. Can anyone recommend a good place in S. California? Most of the feedback I've gotten on the S. Cal dealers is negative or mixed at best.

Congrats on the new car and welcome to BimmerForums.
If you'd like, I can move this to the California Forum for more local reactions and information. Let me know.

i would stay away from dealers in general. most of us have found independent shops we are happy with. if you are a reasonable distance from huntington beach, i would suggest autowerkes. 714-842-2277. i'm very happy with them.
good luck, and enjoy.

Where in Southern California are you?
Jeffrey
Heard that there's only one good tech at South Bay BMW.
Haven't heard any feedback on Beverly Hills BMW which is right next to my work.

Try GT International - I have heard great things about them and there work. I know that there alot of people on this forum that go to them as well.

i had a mediocre experience at BH BMW.
I haven't had problems with Beverly Hills BMW for service.
I'd try GT International on the West Side or Avus Motorsport in Glendale. They have an awesome facility and do great HONEST work.

If you want to take your car all the way south to Mission Viejo. There is a good shop called DA Imports. Great guy who owns it. Tell me if you want some more info.

I've heard good things about Crevier in OC. All those indepedant shops mentioned are good as well but I suppose you want to take it to the dealerships for warranty reasons.
