Try the Berkeley Marina area.... can use the city for a back drop, not a lot of traffic....

treasure island if it's not foggy, rest area by the intersection of 92 and 280, Mines Road, Mt. Diablo, hills on the marin side of the GGB. There are a lot of places in bay are for photos.

That was taken in front of the ferry terminal in SFO. Click on my sig to see other pics taken during that night. I like how it turned out. :D

taking pics of the car inside a parking garage w/ the city in the back looks good. i cant find any examples :dunno i took mine in a parking garage and the long neon tubes they use for lighting look good on the curves of the car

I'm not sure exactly where you are but in this photo if you looked right you would see the bay bridge and San Fran skyline. You can get here by driving North on College Ave then you have to take a right at a club to get up the hill but I don't remember the club or street name I just know it by look. Would make an awesome night view if you park the car to the right, I'll look more, I know I have a pic looking at the city from here.

-treasure island
-lombard
-coit tower
-twin peak
-baker beach
-golden gate park
-intersection of broadway st and fillmore st
-intersection of California st and Mason st
-Embarcadero st (around palomino)

Yes. I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to look for the picture that shows the entire bay from this location. I'm not sure what you are looking for. It is kind of far from the city so the skyline won't be clear if it isn't a clear night but you can see the Golden Gate, Bay Bridge and the skyline. I think if done well it could be a great photo. This was a scan of a pano photo (date as you can see is 1999) before digital cams were popular so the quality sucks.
