Anyone know of a salvage yard in the SF Bay Area that has E36, particularly M3, parts? I need an hydraulic main belt tensioner and the stealer wants $400+ for it. Any help is appreciated.

I found the $400 tensioner for only $45! :redspot F'n stealer can go to hell! :evil2 MSH 08-14-2003, 11:36 PM Hey Jay, I may be interested in your rig. I currently have a '95 4Runner as a daily driver, and wouldn't mind having another Bimmer to complement my M Coupe. Only thing is, I've got the serious track bug now and I may turn the M Coupe into a "Trailer Queen", so I would probably need something in the good ol' American Muscle category if I go that route....still undecided at this point, but I do know the 4Runner will be going. If it is not sold by the end of the month I would be very interested in taking a look-see. I will be away on business starting this weekend and all next week and then on vacation until the end of the month. I did see it briefly at the BayBimmerz event last weekend, but I didn't take a close look...wish I knew you were selling it. Compression or leakdown test done recently? Thanks, Bernman Bernman - Found it at usedbmwparts.com in Rancho Cordova (Sacramento). They had tons of parts! They didn't know what the part was and actually let me go through their inventory to find it. Nice guys...and great price! Bernman 08-19-2003, 12:46 AM Ahh, Bavarian Engine Exchange. Nice to hear good things about them. I have been seriously considering purchasing an engine from this company.
