well, i'm a licensed inspector and we have regular audits at my work where a regestry worker comes down and checks the machine talks to us ext.. noting bad.
well one of the employees that i work with has a old explorer with body rot on the lower rockers (it was once covered by pastic and now is exposed) he has a valid sticker on his car and the regestry lady noticed this and challenged the sticker. I did the inspection originaly on it back in jan and failed the truck b/c its brake lights didnot work and there was a trailer ball blocking his rear plate. at the time of the inspection there was no visible rust with jaged edges on the outside of the veh.
Since the first inspection he was in a accident and broke both plastic covers off his side and now there is visiible rust. He went back and got a passing sticker from another inspector here at my shop.
well because i did the first inspection and didnt mark down there was body rot (even though it wasnt visible at the time of inspection) it is my fault and i'm being charged with some b/s charge that the state of massachuetts is taking me to f*ckin cort for and i got a citation for it. no BS this is completly retarded and makes me hate the regestery so much more than i previously did. I could lose my drivers license for this.. I really cant wait to get out of this state.

Kinda like having a cracked appearance plastic part that looks like part of the taillight. You know the 80's Audi's that had all the way across the back. No light in but it can't be cracked.....

This state has lost it's mind, common sense went out decades ago. Here stick it to the people who work for a living.

When I moved up here in 07, I thought the FL DMV was about the worst place on the face of the planet.

Then I went to the Melrose RMV. I had been in the city for 2 weeks and needed to register my cars and get a MA license so that I could transfer my insurance coverage to MA. The "woman" behind the counter that was going to take my picture, do the registration, etc. looked at me and said, point blank, that "she didn't care about anything or anyone, except her family." I told her that I just wanted my new license and nothing else.

The remaining time there was very quiet. I hope that sow had a heart attack.
