This is news to you:confused In the 90's they were ok but they have sucked a long time. BCN AAF and 92.9 is what I usually listen to. Even though most radio these days sucks.

Not only do they play the worst genre of music.. if you can even call it that.. they replay the same 10 songs over and over. Now that most the local station are owned by Clearchannel and they all play top 40 instead of DJ picks, but of all of them Jamin' is the worst. I dunno if they are actually owned by clearchannel, but it's the only station that I hear the same some more than once within the same hour.

Yea I think it's clearchannel cause they have those stupid commercials "Radio is heard here, radio is heard everywhere"

I mostly listen to WBCN, WERS (88.9) or NPR (nat. pub. radio FTMFW). WZLX follows closely behind. 92.9 isn't bad now that they've changed formats...they're sort of a wbcn-junior with fewer commercials.

Not sure if you get this where you are but 88.9 I think its a college station thurs/friday/sat nights has been underground hip hop for years now - hope its still around.

Sirius has/had some decent stations, i had SAT radio in my old car.

"Buy Songs on Itunes"(Torrents) and put them on an ipod... NO Commercials and you choose the songs you want... BTW JAMN has another station for the old school music for when they were a good station invest in a HD Radio and you'll enjoy it..

Radio hasn't been hooked up in my car since before I bought it. Previous owner said there was an adapter to hook up the antenna to the deck but he had lost it. Someday I'll get around to fixing it but I'm happy with the iPod and CDs.

Back when i had radio I liked 92.9 WBOS a lot, they seemed to be one of the only stations that actually played music in the mornings instead of talking about bullshit. I don't know if I can even get that station down in Rhode Island though.

I love the jamn morning show though. Its pretty funny stuff that keeps me awake on my morning drive into boston through an hours worth of traffic. nothing like a jamm scamm!

Meh I used to be a die hard Ramero and Pebbles fan but one day I listened to Toucher and Rich on WBCN and was hooked.

since i dont wake up in the mornings anymore i dont listen to Ramiro and Pebbles. the pop and hip/hop isnt bad but i think other stuff out now is garbage. Back in the Day Buffets always good, brings me back to my gangsta dayz "stop, drop, shut'em down open up shop" :shifty
