Apologies for the dumb question, but I am well aware the the Wokke chips work on the M60 engines and not on the M62, but why?
What would be the alternative solution to enhance the performance on my M62B44? Is it a remap? How would this work exactly?:help Do I need to do the auto gearbox as well?:eyecrazy
Thanks guys! :buttrock

Remapping of the M62 is done through the serial port, not by exchanging the chips. Yes, the transmission is normally done at the same time.

Great, I think that's a bit more of a hassle than just swapping chips..
Can anyone name places where they do it in the UK?
Are there any advantages of the M62B44 over the M60B40 after they are modded?

I'm sure they may be gains however I would leave mine standard there well set up for performance and long life of engine and tranny.

This make sense, but isn't the tranny and everything else the same as on the other more powerful models?
