ON MY WAY TO HUNTS PT IN THE BRONX TO WATCH RICERS RACE, I GOT OUT DRIVEN BY A FREAKING 2000 ACCORD COUPE V6, I WAS ON THE JACKIE ROBINSON WHICH IS A WINDING TWISTY ROAD, REALLY TWISTY, AND IM GETTING ON PRETTY SLOW AND THIS ACCORD IS TAILING ME SOMETHING SERIOUS, THEN HE JUST GUNS IT AROUND ME SO I GIVE CHASE, BUT BUDDY IS ALREADY ABOUT 4 CARS AHEAD OF ME, I GIVE CHASE AND I AM SURE ILL GET HIM WHEN THE ROAD STARTS TO CURVE UP REAL GOOD, AND I CATCH UP TO HIM BUT I AM UNABLE TO PAST HIM DUE TO TRAFFIC AND HIS LACK OF CONCERN FOR HIS CAR AND SAFETY, THE BACK OF HIS CAR KEPT SLIDING OUT AND THEN FINALLY AROUND A 25MPH TWIST, I PAST HIM, AS HE WAS UNABLE TO KEEP UP HIS SPEED AND HANDLING ABLITITY IN THAT CAR, BUT BEFORE THAT, HE HANDED IT TO ME PRETTY BAD, I HAVE TO GIVE IT TO HIM, SO I WENT OUT TO HUNTS POINT WITH MY BOY WHO HAS AN A4 TURBO, PRETTY MUCH STOCK, IHAVE A 330 WITH DINAN STAGE TWO CHIP, INTAKE, THROTTLE BODY, STRUT BRACE AND OEM M3 18'S, SO WE ARE TER, AND EVERYONE WANTS TO SEE US RACE, SO WE ARE ABOUT TO GO AT IT, WHEN A BLOODY EVO PULLS UP BEHIND HIM AND SAYS HE WANTS A PIECE OF ME, SO MY BUDDY MOVES OUT THE WAY AND MAKES WAY FOR THE EVO,BUDDY PULLS UP NEXT TO ME MAKING ALL KINDS OF NOISE REVING HIS ENGINE, AND I AM SURE IM BOUT TO GET TOASTED SOMETHING SERIOUS BUT I WASNT ABOUT TO CHICKEN OUT, NEXT THING YOU KNOW THE SIRENS........AND EVERYONE DIPS,

yo wattup im from new york, i been to a bunch og different racin spots, tha point, flatlands, but right now everything is basically shut down, but with school goin back and alot of college kids leavin i think flatlands(bk) will start poppin again, once theres less people, but its been shut dwn for about 3-4 weekends but before that it would pop like crazy, 400 cars easy. what spots do you go 2? have you tried zerega?

With few hundered $$$ in bolt on's an Evo can easily dip into mid 12's and possibly into low 12's,scary fast if you ask me.So the answer is he would have toasted you real bad,be careful with these Evo's & the Sti's

We all know how the Evo and STi are from a stop, judging from their ETs. From a roll, they both trap about 101-103 on a good day, which means he still would've walked you hard from a high speed highway roll...you're lucky.

(This is said given he actually knew how to drive and the car was fully broken in...).

He said it was a 330 with an intake, stage 2 chip, and throttle body.

Which would most likely be a mid 14 second car from a dead stop, but if he raced something like .. say .. a WRX, Mustang GT, or a stock LT1 f-body from high speeds, i think he could take the said cars .. I've noticed that bmws pull harder at higher speeds, they're geared that way .. ya know? But, yeah, a stock evo would probably walk him even at higher speeds, but id think he'd fare better at high speeds, losing by a couple of car lengths instead of 4 or 5, hehe.

If you were having a hard time against the accord, chances are the Evo would be a nightmare.

i love those super twisty turns on the jackie robinson. if i can go through those turns without any traffic im in heaven. it makes or breaks my day.

you would get smoked really bad by an evo...especially from a dead stop...as long as that evo is willin to drop at about 5k and get a good launch he will instantly pull at least a car length on you by the end of 1st and its him pulling from there...the only way an 330 will keep up with an evo will be a FI 330..my best friend just bought an evo8 and those are no joke..
