I know there are a ton of engine/transmission/differential oil threads but I wanted to get some local advice since our climate is different than most.

What engine, transmission and differential oil do you use and if you remember, how many quarts of each?

This weekend is fluids weekend.

Bay Area with Royal Purple in the diff. and tranny, and 7 quarts of mobil 1 or castrol in the motor. Thinking about switching weights since I've been running non synthetic 20w50 for a while. 0w40 or 10w40 next change.

This is what I ran on my M3

Engine:
15-50 Mobile1 summer Full Synthetic 7Quarts
10-30 Mobile1 winter Full Synthetic 7Quarts

Diff:
Red Line 75/90 Differential Gear Oil 2Quarts was plenty

Tranny:
Red Line MT-90 75W90 Synthetic Manual Transmission Oil 2Quarts was plenty

Royal Purple: Good stuff
Castrol Full Sythetic: Good Stuff used it in my Honda Days...

It all really depends on you. GL!

It's all personal preference really. I run 20w50 RP in the summer for the track days and 10w40 RP all other times (I always buy a handful of extra quarts to keep around). RP Synchromax for the tranny (buy two of the bottle things), and Redline 75w140 in the diff.
