I was just wondering what the 0-60 is on a m70 e31 auto (chipped)? I know what the original car did but what about the ones with the wokke chips and the eml v2.0 as well. I have those chips and its lowered and maintained, etc. At least for those of you out there with the wokke chips (the best) what do you think our cars can do in the 0-60 and the 1/4 mile?:evil2

Maybe 0.1 or 0.2 sec improvement at the most 0-60.
My car is about 0,5 sec faster than stock, but I have way more HP than a simple chip will give you since I also have cams, and a different (faster) rear gear ratio.
If 0-60 time improvement is what you want, buy a 3.91 rear diff.

I don't want a faster 0-60 time the question was more just an effort in figuring out how much faster the wokke chips make the e31. Thanks for the info though.

My car was modifyed by Hartge in 1991.
Have Harge cams, engine and transmission reprogramming.
Power is 354hp/485nm (stock is 300hp/450nm)
Diff replaced from 3.15 to 3.45.
This makes my car 5hp more than the Alpina B12 5.0 with the same gear ratio as the Alpina.
My car will on paper do 0-60 in 6.8sec a stock is 7,4sec.
Though I think I will struggle to get under 7 sec today.
Dyno from 2007 show that my car now has 276 SAE/279 DIN HP at the rear wheel.
Depending on how you estimate drivetrain loss I have from 339-349 DIN HP at the crank (not bad after 18 years)
A chip giving you maybe 320hp would not give you much more than 0.1-0.2 sec 0-60 gain with the stock gearing.
But I don't think a better 0-60 time is what was the target when developing the chip.
