the rims you better keep. they won't do any good as far as the selling price is concerned.
same with the audio.
if you can , post some photo's if the car looks descent you might be able to score 1000 to 1500 for it.
as long as it never had an accident.
good luck

I hope you really understand where people are coming from here, and I hope you mean by 'parting out' that it would be the wheels/tires and audio. Yes the rest of the car (I will assume is stock) has serious mechanical issues with the blown head gasket (and probably warped head(s) ) and the tranny, but IMO isn't reason to part it out further unless it has other serous damage in it's history as well. After all the idea is to keep these on the road. Good luck to you and thank you for your service over there.

First off bro thany you for your service and come back in one peice, second man are you sure you want to sell it :( . You dont have anymore interest in keeping it?
I say fix it ,the tranny is the only thing im wondering that will cost more than the engine to fix. Those 20" look better on your car than i thought they would...

I really like the green, I think it looks sharp. With all the tax free and HFP you can easily get her fixed. I have spent lots of time in Iraq so I feel your pain, just keep your head on a swivel.

I purchased my 850 with a bad head gasket. She was completely stock and aside from the normal maintenance issues with her age she was in great shape. A 93 850 with 63k I paid $4400 for her, did all the work myself and saved a ton of money, plus had a lot of fun.

Glad to see you're keeping her. You should start doing some research and asking questions now, then buy the parts so when you get back it's all there waiting for you, like I did.
