UK is RHD! No question of fitting, but does it make sense?

LHD CSi mirror left side has 7mm bigger mirror itself and 18mm longer stays than right side.

What about yours, Dave?

Hmm, so if one uses a LHD mirror on the left AND a right hand mirror on the right, would you have the most 'mirror' possible?
Would the right mirror still dip on reverse?

I´m guessing one wouldn`t be able to correctly adjust the angle on the self-fitted longer style mirror.. why else would the glass be different?

You gotta use the appropriate mirrors for the correct angle. This is evident upon install.

In other words, if you're LHD, then you need LHD mirrors...

Would the right mirror still dip on reverse?Good question!!! Don't let them tell you different unless they tried it! Amazing how much of that go's on... It works and i've been using your question of mirrors for 5 years, You can even use the Right hand drive mirrors on a left hand drive car, how would i know? I tried it, It works but the view isn't as pleasant as stock mirrors by no means, You can see what's behind you and i would'nt recommend it for anyone over '6.1 in height, Yes! Even the correct set of euro mirros reduce visabiltiy big time, They just look to darn correct for the car, There hot too! Some shorter guys can easily get away with the wrong mirrors.

^^^Marv made a great point: no matter what CSi mirror you install, the visibility will be crap. In the end, you get used to it, and the CSi mirrors should've come stock for all 8s. Just say no to Dumbo mirrors :D

Lol, dumbo are the big floppy mirrors, not the CSi mirrors. We call the stock rectangular mirrors Dumbo mirrors 'cause they look like Dumbo's elephant ears :lol3

Who ever came up with that saying deserves a cold beer (on me).

Cheers

Consider myself to be pretty short (when it comes to body), with my 5f8, but I gotta say I regret slightly buying the mirrors from UK. If it wasn't for the fact that they were already painted, I wouldn't have risked it. Will exchange mine with LHD as soon as I find a pair. Will even sell them before that if anyone is interested in buying...

I'll part with mine for GB £ 300 + shipping, which is what I paid for them. Paintjob could have been better, but it works for me.

Ok I bow out of this bidding wars. Someone is just pushing the price ridiculously high. I wanted to spend $400 - $500 USD but it seems it may surpass that. In that case, I will either buy new or just buy the CSI front bumper add on and the rears first. I think the sellers friend is colluding and intentionally bidding the price up. Well now I am out so they will have to keep it!!!!
