tread72 03-03-2009, 10:45 PM My cousin has a set of those on his 740, he wanted to trade me for my M-Parr's that I have for sale, can you widen those wheels? I might just trade him. Don't know to much about them.

I am not sure. Came with car when I bought it. I upgraded to a custom 19x10 ET 20 R and 19x8 ET 8 F wheels.

I don't know how they were made or by who, but since they appear to be multipeice construction, you should be able to just swap the barrel with another of the same manufacturer (BBS?) to get a larger spec.
TxGR8White 03-03-2009, 10:56 PM your ad says they are 18" - are you sure? The E31 Specific BBS Style 5's are 17". 18's weren't offered on the E31.

Auraraptor 03-03-2009, 11:00 PM (Not disagreeing with you, just noting) The offsets he listed are very much E31. No 7 series had that offered, or 5 series.
tdotbimmer 03-03-2009, 11:07 PM It is possible the original owner put a style 5 from another vehicle. It is however 18". The offset posted is what I obtained from realoem. I assumed if they fit on my E31, they must be exact offset or a minute mm off.

That makes more sense. I would check the wheels for the actual offsets. I am pretty sure they are a bit higher.

Fronts are 8J x 18 with an ET of 20

They are RC061 and the corresponding 9" rim is RC062.
They are 2-piece and width can't be changed. Lip and inner barrel are one piece.
Cheers
Wolf
This is a RC061/062 set on an 850Ci

I like the 17" Style 5s better because the proportion of the spokes to the lip is nicer IMO.
TxGR8White 05-04-2009, 11:05 AM 17" Style 5's:

wokke 05-04-2009, 11:12 AM and the lip is deeper - at least looks a lot deeper. I never actually measured it.
Auraraptor 05-04-2009, 03:32 PM Hey Wolf, a Ferrari fellow contacted you regarding speedline wheels yes? I sent him your way. Hope all works out. I am still getting my wheels together. I expect 2.5 to 3 weeks or so. :stickoutt
