View Full Version : Feeler - Schroth Racing "clip-in/clip-out" Rallye 4 Harness * CLOSED *
ACS330Ci 07-31-2003, 08:52 AM DocWyte said he would quarterback another group buy of these if there is enough interest ... minimum 10 harnesses. Here's the link to the last GB with all the info - http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=105540&highlight=Schroth
I'm good for 2 of the 10, anyone else?
hellrotvic 07-31-2003, 11:10 PM Is the price still $185? I would be interested in 1 for the driver's seat.
Thanks!
ACS330Ci 08-01-2003, 04:15 AM Same prices as long as we can get 10 buys together ... that's 3, 7 to go ;)
kapolani 08-01-2003, 09:59 AM I'm in for one...
I'll check in periodically...
sidenote -
would I be able to get two, but one for a Mini Cooper S application and one for an E36 M3?

I'll ask DocWyte, but I don't see why not.
hellrotvic 08-03-2003, 01:20 PM bump ^
DocWyte 08-03-2003, 02:04 PM I'll check into the mini application. I've never ordered them before, so I'll have to check on price and availibility.
kapolani 08-04-2003, 07:40 PM thanks...
icemann633 08-05-2003, 04:51 PM Iam interested.
What colors are they AVAILABLE in? I see he said int he other thread only red or black right now. Does that mean they are gonna have other colors at a different time? If yellow is possible i want to hold off...
DocWyte 08-05-2003, 05:06 PM Only black and red are available right now. I have no idea if they're planning on making them in different colors in the future.
Kapolani, I have a call into the distributor about the Mini fitment. Just waiting to hear back from them.
kapolani 08-05-2003, 08:15 PM Cool. Let me know when you get the info.
DocWyte 08-05-2003, 09:10 PM I'm hoping to get this order in by this friday, so if you're interested you need to email me your order and your shipping info...
DocWyte 08-06-2003, 02:24 PM Kapolani,
They are available for your Mini. Only in red and black, same pricing as the E36/E46 fitments.
ACS330Ci 08-06-2003, 03:08 PM Everybody e-mail their info? :D
NewM3er 08-06-2003, 05:22 PM When does this GB end?
DocWyte 08-06-2003, 11:23 PM I want everyones info and order by this friday.
BMW M Power 08-07-2003, 01:36 AM 185 seems sort of high. bmp design has the rallye 4 for 157. is there a difference in what the GB would be for vs. what bmp sells?
icemann633 08-07-2003, 03:02 AM this is for each right? Not a driver and passenger pair?
oofaM3 08-07-2003, 03:06 AM I am really considering one.
I just have some questions, just about the whole group buy process (never done one)
I would be in for 1 left side, with pads and sliders i guess.
if i ever decided to get some aftermarket seats, would this harness still work?
hellrotvic 08-07-2003, 04:01 AM Hello,
I also saw the ad for the Schroth harness belts for $157. If the GB price is higher than the BMP price, then we should all just order it from BMP.
http://www.bmpdesign.com/bmw/parts/catalog/safety_22.shtml
Let me know if there is something that I am misunderstanding, if the harness at BMP is not the correct one, I will still be in for the GB.
Thanks!
DocWyte 08-07-2003, 07:51 AM Hellrotvic, before posting PLEASE check your information!! This group buy is for the NEW CLIP IN CLIP OUT harnesses that retail for $225. NOT the old style bolt in harnesses, those are significantly cheaper, as you've pointed out.
Price is for 1 harness.
These use the factory seat belt clip ins, so if you went to an aftermarket seat and didn't retain the factory clip ins, these harnesses wouldn't work.
The way this works is those interested email me with their order (tell me what car you have!) and their shipping address. Once I have that info I'll email you a quote including shipping. Then you pay me via paypal. Once everyone has paid, I put the order in. The harnesses will be drop shipped to you and once they've been shipped I'll email you the tracking number.
hellrotvic 08-07-2003, 12:29 PM DocWyte,
Sorry about that, I realized I was looking at two different things after reading a little bit more about the cheaper harness.
Count me in for the GB.
Thanks!
95RogueM3 08-08-2003, 02:14 PM i only count 5 people publicly on the gb..so does this mean it will be open a little bit longer..i am currently negotiating with someone over the bolt-in variety of schroths..but might want to get in on this deal. If it must go on then so be it but if i can get in like tomorrow or on sunday that would be sweet. let me know

faMMMily car 08-10-2003, 01:39 AM Is this GB still alive? I'd be in for driver and passenger side harnesses for my '98 M3/4. Sent an email to DocWyte on Friday afternoon, but haven't heard back yet.
DocWyte 08-10-2003, 11:34 PM FaMMMily car, I don't think I got an email from you. Please resend it to me if you can.
This group buy is open as long as you can send in funds by the close of business tomorrow...
