This is a very limited edition where only 120 models sold in 1989. Paint and interior are in good condition. Mechanically, the Rover is in great shape, despite the 258k miles (62k miles on a brand new, not rebuilt, 4.0 litre engine). Smooth ride on- or off-road as you would expect from a Rover, AC blows very cold, and heater warms well.

During the last 6 years, over $24k of receipts in parts and labor has been accumulated.

Pros:
The following are some of the features:
Brand new (not rebuilt) 4.0 litre long-block Discovery engine (with 4.2 litre cams) installed by Land Rover Marin at 196k miles.
Brand new air-conditioner (receiver drier, compressor, condenser, thermostat, blower switch, R134 refrigerant)
Vented front brake conversion (pre-1989 Range Rovers used solid brake rotors)
Bilstein HD shocks
Bilstein steering damper
Stereo - Head unit (Kenwood KRC-X858), CD changer (Kenwood KDC-C669), subwoofer (Kicker PS60 Substation)
Optima battery
Prestige alarm
Michelin 4x4 Synchrone tires with less than 4k miles
Hella FF300 fog lights (100 watt bulbs)
Replaced transmission, alternator, power steering pump, brake booster, starter, front and rear axles
Oil service every 2,500 miles, and recent service included new air filter, ignition wires, plugs, distributor

Additional items with the sale include the following:
Built in dog cage
Original color matched three spoke rims - that's a second set!
Noah Covercraft car cover
Misc. tune up parts

Cons:
There is typical power steering leak, but the source has yet to be isolated; could be the gearbox, reservoir, or line. The tachometer and cruise control does not work.

Asking price is only $6,500 or any reasonable offer. Additional photos are available. Call Edwin (415) 533-8990, if you’re interested or have additional questions.

Thanks! I'm posting for my buddy. The Rover is solid but I don't have room for it.
