they used to have them every week at the pike but less people started going so it kinda died off.

during the spring/summer/fall we have them every two or three weeks in fairfield

Give me a few weeks and I'm totally into it...I don't mind driving too far either. I actually live about 1 minute from the pike so I'd for sure be down with that.

Also, when the weather becomes milder, it'll be time for the dunkin donuts volkswagen/euro meets every wednesday. I've been going to these meets for years and years now. Lots of great people and usually an excellent turnout (mostly dubs, but who cares). It's the new dunkin donuts right near the rt. 9 entrance on the berlin turnpike. We could start our own bimmer sub division. Usually, I'm the only one, but we would all be welcome.

Yo, cheers to a neighbor! I drop by for your shitty little skatepark, haha. I bring speakers sometimes and mix a few tunes for people on the spot.

Count me in. I'd be down to meet up weekly for sure.

I hope my slave cylinder does not need to be replaced. The weather needs to start getting hot soon so I can dump the Jeep and put some miles on the M. 98 M vert with around 67-69k miles on the ODO.

drill 2 holes on the exhaust weld in the 2 o2 bungs, wire the wideband lc-1 and gauge, install the Begi RRFPR, finish welding the exhaust to the turbo (only tached currently), buy a turbo oil feed/drain lines/oil cooler/relocation on ebay, kits 280$, but my funds are on my e36 currently, and im goin on vacation at the begining of next month.. then my funds will go back to my e30.. and then hook it up to a laptop and tweak the afm a lil via the wideband software.. but body wise, i'm gona go i think with taurus side skirts, and fab a rear bumper, then i can finish the tail pipe. gota buy seats/belts, and make custom brackets.. so ya she's gona keep my busy phyiscally and finacially.. oh yea, i gota buy the sheet metal for the rear bumper and get a boost gauge..

Damn my friend, that's an incredible amount of work you've put into that vehicle! It was definitely a fun read through and I'm extremely jealous of your garage setup. I plan on going FI (turbo) either this summer or this coming winter...I may have to consult with you on a few things.

Yo that's cool. So just feel me in on when and where exactly the Wednesday meets are.

As soon as the weather warms up, the meets will usually go from about 8:00pm to about 10:30-11pm. The place will always be the newest dunkin donuts on the berlin turnpike which is located in berlin right near the route 9 on ramp.

I cannot see myself modifying the car, more issues arise then anything. Plus I would rather invest my money elsewhere. No offense but I just had a bad experience with my previous vehicle that I would rather enjoy the car and then upgrade to something faster later in life. Plus how many 24 year olds can say they have a e36 vert as well an 08 jeep cherokee?:shifty

Err, no offense but how many 24 year-olds want a Cherokee? :)

I completely understand you wanting to stay stock. I'm the same way; any mod I do to it makes it look stock, but in a way that it looks like it's got all the options. Euro grilles, OEM item. 15" basketweaves, OEM item. These kinds of things make the car look so much better but are still OEM stuff! You should consider that at least... :D

The only reason I picked up the Jeep Cherokee is for the winters here in the NE. Just the flexibility that I can drive the car anytime anywhere and not have to worry about much. I used to have a mazda protege5 and I loved the car to death. But with big storms and the like I was worried, I lived in Greenwich where basically all roads are very hilly and you could just slide into almost anything at times, not that I ever did, but it was still a concern. I actually am happy with the switch, the car is comfy as fuck and has a lot of amenities of a lot of higher end cars for less of the cost. Yes its a Jeep, yes its domestic but I feel one of the best 4X4 vehicles out there. I love it, it has grown on me.

Plus when I really want to rip on some roads I take out the M3 and put the top down. Best of both worlds if you ask me. :buttrock

But I hear what your saying, to each their own.

And day's like today when its starting to snow with prospects of a lot of snow during the weekend. I will take the Jeep over the E36 in the snow any day of the week! Key words, SNOW

there are german awd (ix) or 4x4 (x3 & x5) vehicles.. i will never go back to a non german vehicle.. i'd rather drive a needing repair 325ix or x3 than anything non german :D.. someday i will add an awd or 4x4 to my collection, but not anytime soon.. nothing a good BMW driver and 4 studded snow tires can't handle in a 2wd vehicle to get around in the snow ;)

bump.. i know its still cold, but just trying to set this up.. what do you guys think of webster front parking lot.. its where we've had our weekend euro get togethers at (dont have any pics) (minus the meets, our e30 meets were at lowes), if we get a lot of people we could continue it around the side also. its a good layed back spot, you get to see that main lot where a lot of people race, and not that many drive through to bother us :) what do u guys think?

gathering more interest.. posted here also, please spread the word..

also shot an email too, http://sports-car-restoration.com/, cool guys there, and they all own at an e30 ;)

I might be down for any night, I have a friend who recently bought a jetta (it's his first nice car and I want to get him to mod it some, this might be the perfect way to get him into it)

Considering that I bought my car from a dealership on the pike, it might be nice to show it off around there...
