Thanks! themadhatter 02-14-2009, 12:53 PM I usually stay far away from most small dealerships, especially in NYC. be sure to check for a rolled back odometer by having the vin on hand at your local audi dealership. a friend once bought a X5that was supposed to be under warranty from such a place....his car actually had 80k as per previous service history on it, but the odometer showed 45k and the car fax was clean. buyer beware. Bill 02-14-2009, 01:27 PM the first mistake is looking at an audi! the second is ..... well .... Just have themadhatter take you to the auction and be done with it. xtremsiege2 02-14-2009, 07:11 PM Stay away from nyc, private seller is alright if it hasn't been NYC driven its entire life. mbadger 02-14-2009, 07:25 PM These guys have good cars and prices (in NJ too): MJTraders http://www.mjtraders.com/detail-2003-audi-rs6-3836413.html http://www.mjtraders.com/detail-2002-audi-s6-avant-3632140.html sogood 02-14-2009, 07:54 PM the first mistake is looking at an audi! the second is ..... well .... This dealership in queens just bought the car from auction a few days ago, it was for sale at Sports and Imports in asbury park for a couple months. There's no guarantee when buying a car from an auction, correct? Sort of a hit or miss no? I might just take out a loan and buy one privately owned, but even with that there is no warranty unless its already existing on the car.
