I went through undergrad for premed, and have been working in finance since I graduated in May 07. I did this for a number of reasons, but long story short it proved just what I hoped - that I want to pursue medicine. I'm starting to prep for MCATs, etc for this coming summer, but I really could use some extra curriculars. I'm going to contact some local hospitals, but I was hoping I might get lucky and find someone on the board willing to help out and provide me with some experience. I want it to be volunteer (dont want/need the money) and for it to provide me with some hands on experience of the field. If anyone here is a doc, or maybe has a close family member/friend who is a doc, and could help, it would be greatly appreciated. If you'd rather not post here, please feel free to PM me.

edit: I'm in the Fairfield area, and would be willing to commute reasonable distances. I do work full time M-F, but could put in time some nights or on weekends. I'm not looking to waste anyone's time either, this is a very serious request.
