I was out on a date Saturday in Old City and just made the right from Market at the Continental when a MCS in BRGreen decided to eye me up from behind. We went through one intersection when he decided he'd try me out at the next one. As I took off he pulled along side of me so we could line up at the next intersection. Heh heh. Red light.

Initially, I wasn't gonna race since the new chick would probably think I was an idiot, but she was smiling. she new the score... :D

So, as soon as the light turned green, the MCS jumped on it. I mashed the throttle just as his butt got to my door.
1st gear, I was back along side him and gained a little.
2nd gear, I got a chirp from the tires and gained a car and then some. His SC was whirring away..
3rd... well, it was over by then and he was well off the pace.
I looked behind me and he pulled up behind me, not smiling, looking rather pissed. Oh well, I figured he shoulda known better.

you're driving an Mcoupe and he's driving a cooper S. didn't he realize that he tried to pull a David vs. Goliath?

I would have been smiling and at least said hi to you if I was the Cooper driver.
