I was in the 3rd lane waiting at the stop light. Road ahead will merge my #3 and the #2 lanes together. This will be a short race. This was behind SFSU by the Lowell basketball courts on that road that goes around Lake Merced. I was stopped there with a Silver X5 next to me. It was the 3.0 engine X5.
Light turned green, I eased it into first. The X5 takes off much faster than I expected. I go WOT, my bumper is ahead of his front bumper by about 3 feet. I shift into 2nd, and I was about 1/2 carlengths ahead before he had to brake and let me in.
Short race. First 2 gears will be close. But advantage to my M3.
