As my Cardiologist blessed me to take a roadtrip, I registered today to attend the 10th Annual Russian River Wine Barrel Tasting Tour in/around Santa Rosa Ca. This will be the 5th ARRWBTT I have attended and I dont even like wine! A terrific event to meet other owners, create new friendships and renew old ones. Also a great excuse for us Notherners to get our cars out of hibernation and stretch their legs some. For me, that some is a 2000 mile round trip, but well worth it.
Anyone else going?

Update!
Fitchick and I along with my co-pilot Dave and Linda and Tod from Seattle will be leaving Thursday morning and overnighting in scenic Crescent City, California. We will arrive mid afternoon Friday in Santa Rosa and have dinner with Steve Cohen and Will Edgar - renowned automotive journalist.
Anyone else attending? Latest update indicates 19 cars and registration for this event closes midnight Feb 25. This will be my 5th ARRWBTT and all have been great events. Still time to register but you better hurry!
My #1 car is ready, sleeping under its blanky waiting til its time to go...

I won't be able to make the wine tasting as I have another family commitment that day. I'm wondering for us local constituance that can't make the wine run on Saturday... If a Sunday rondevous is welcome as an alternative? We can pack our own lunch and bring our favorite wine.

Sorry Alex, we talked about this. I was on the fence for a long time on if I was going to go. At the last minute I pulled the tigger and signed up. There is always next year. Take care and lets try to get the Bay Area 8 nuts together for a Euro Sunday this year.

Carter

You guys aren't staying at Pelican Bay in Crescent City are you!!?!:eek: :D
I wish I could make the meet... It would be great to hear all the V12 comedians with their 4-short jokes :lol3
Seriously though, it would be great to meet you all someday.

I would love to attend this event, but unfortunately the timing isn't great for us Albertan's.... there's just too much white stuff between us and Cali this time of year. Current HWY conditions heading west out of Calgary...

Plus the Coquihalla isn't looking the best either:
